How are licensees and patent owners protected against patent infringements?
Caviar producers who are our licensees are asking how they can ensure that competitors do not use the AWI process. An infringement of the patents can be easily proven by rapid laboratory tests of the caviar grains. Cutting a cross-section through a few grains of suspicious caviar, staining it and checking in a microscope show whether the AWI Technology has been applied or not. These tests are established in every histology laboratory offer a high level of protection for licensees and patent owners.
